Assignment of Redemption Rights

  I took a note through foreclosure in Saginaw Michigan. The occupants have moved out. In Michigan the previous owner has 6 months to redeem. I would like to get the previous owner to sign their redemption rights to me so I can move forward with rehab. Does anyone have an official Michigan “Assignment of Redemption Rights” document that I can use?

  I would check with an attorney on that to see if that is okay to do. You want to make sure that not only do they sign something but that it is enforceable if they later change their mind.
