Some of us were talking at the Summer Summit about slow communication from Peak. I recently moved 3 of my notes from Peak to NAA so I can use the Turnkey Flipping Academy model on them. I too had been frustrated with Peak but that is not why I moved them.
Coincidentally, I got a call yesterday from John Simmons saying he saw that I transfered 3 notes and wanted to know if they had done something wrong. I told him the above and he was apologetic and told me they recently lost some key people. He also told me to email him directly with any questions or things I need addressed and that he would respond promptly. I’ve been waiting to hear back from Peak on a few issues for a couple weeks so I emailed those to him today and he responded within a few hours.
Just wanted to pass this along to others who were having problems connecting with Peak. John has always been great to work with and still is!

I have found the same thing. It took them 2 months to have me added on their protale. Additionally they send out checks vs ACH payments. Not really impressed to date Dave Franecki

I, too, am having trouble with Peak. They told me my loan was boarded on 5/27 and that I would get my email etc to login to their system to see the status. As Yet, I have not heard from them after repeated emails and phone calls (had to leave a message very time!)

I thought it was just me. I brokered 2 notes and thought that my investors were in good hands at Peak. My investors even talked to John directly. Months pass, no check or anything. When they called Peak for an update, Tammy couldn’t even find their loans in the system! My investors were so panicked they gave me an earful. I called Peak and resolved the issue, but the service and slow responsive has been poor.

I too have had problems with Service from Peak. At first, the only way I could find out what was happening, was if I called them, and then sometimes it took a couple of days to get an answer back. Emails always seemed to take a couple days or longer for an answer. Most of the time I would wind up calling Peak. Finally, John Simmons had me cc him on any email I sent. A couple of weeks back, I was told by the person that was handling my account, what law firm would be handling the legal aspect. As I had a couple of questions for the attorney, I called the law firm. They told me they didn’t do legal work for Peak in Ohio, but did take time to answer my question.
After what I thought was a reasonable amount of time to hear from peak, I called them. I was then informed that the legal firm they were going to use, was no longer longer doing work for them, and that also they had lost a lot of key people, and that my account unfortunately, fell through the cracks. I was assured this would not happen again. They are now using a firm that is like a clearing house, that distributes the work to attorneys in other states.
I feel I’m too far in now to change servicers, but this will be the last time I use Peak. I will find someone else to service my loans.
