Just found out a borrower of ours on a performing note was just in the hospital and is falling behind. Kimmy and I will be checking into this as well. I also believe there was a group featured at the recent Note Expo that did a workout in Ohio with HHF via a servicer. I’d be interested to get their input, too. Maybe Kim and I will get this on a webinar soon.
Kim and I waited for 2017 to start, we signed up middle of November and attended two of the three day classes and have been going through as much material on the website as possible. Old webinars, forums, on demand training, modules, etc. We had our liaison call not long ago and went over something similar to what you described. We’ve been on NotesDirect practicing due diligence and are going to try to get on a webinar soon to go over a note we hope to purchase. Today we filed with the SOS of Texas for our business name and will get an EIN tomorrow. After we get our bank accounts going, it’s full speed ahead with marketing to broker some deals.
